Can I change the drop off day if I want to stay longer ?
Yes. You will have to contact an open Europcar Sint Maarten agency that is closest to your location. On acceptance by the agency, the length of your lease can be extended. The agency at Juliana International Airport is open from 8am to 6pm and answers to +1 721-543-5270. Any extension of the lease depends on the car’s availability and the rental amount modification that will be charged at the extension time. Another payment authorization might be required.
Important: You are only covered by our insurance and guarantees for the rental time mentioned in the contract. If you keep the car without authorization of Europcar agency after the end of your contract, the insurance originally planned will not cover you.
Is there a limited mileage ?
Sint Maarten/Island is not that big so you can drive as much as you want during your stay as mileage is unlimited.
What do I have to do in case of an accident or if the car break down?
In case of a technical problem, Europcar Sint Maarten provides its customers with a roadside assistance every day of the week during opening hours. The telephone number is +1 (721) 543 5270. If you are involved in an accident, make sure above all to secure the area and you will have to contact and wait for the insurance to come in order to observe the accident. What do I have to do if the car is stolen?
If your car was stolen, you must immediately call the police and report the theft. Then, immediately call Europcar Sint Maarten, or the location where you rented the car to give the officer on duty the theft report and car keys. A franchise can be charged depending on the package you have subscribed to. If you need more information, you can check the terms and location of the website.
Do I have to take care of the car, mechanically speaking, during my agreement ?
All of our cars are examined and are revised frequently. But we require you to make sure that the car can be used properly depending on how much distance you have to travel. Like monitoring levels of water, oil, and tire pressure. Europcar Sint Maarten’s technical staff is available if you need to examine the vehicle. Come during opening hours of the agency. Do not hesitate to make a report immediately after noticing anything anormal or warning lights on the dashboard.
